Stuck Somewhere?
There could be several reasons why your limit order wasn't executed even when the market hit your limit price:
Lack of Market Liquidity- Even if the price reached your limit, there might not have been enough buyers or sellers to match your order. This is common for low-volume stocks or contracts.
Order Priority- Limit orders are executed on a first-come, first-served basis. If other orders at the same price had higher priority, your order might not have been executed.
Partial Fills- Part of your order may have been filled if there weren't enough shares available to complete it fully. Check your order status for details.
Short-lived Price Movement (Market Volatility)- If the price touched your limit only briefly, your order might not have executed due to rapid fluctuations.
Price Reached on a Different Exchange or Session- The limit price may have been reached in another exchange or during pre-/post-market hours, not during the active session for your order.
