To change your name on Groww, you need to submit the required forms and documents by courier. The process depends on the reason for the name change.

1. Name change due to marriage or divorce

Forms required:

• KRA/KYC and BO Modification Form

• Name Confirmation Form

Supporting document (any one):

• Marriage certificate or divorce decree

• Passport showing updated spouse’s or father’s name

2. Name change for reasons other than marriage or divorce

Forms required:

• KRA/KYC and BO Modification Form

• Name Confirmation Form

Supporting document:

• Name change published in the Official Gazette

3. Name change due to expansion or shortening of initials

Forms required:

• KRA/KYC and BO Modification Form

• Minor Correction Form

Important notes:

• A recent photograph and signature are mandatory in the KRA/KYC form

• Your signature must match CDSL records

• A self-attested copy of your PAN card with the updated name is mandatory
